Disclaimer
This was one of my first projects after graduating. I was brought in at a later stage of development. A CAD model and some UI exploration had already begun. From the CAD model and sketches I assisted with building a full-scale mock-up for exploring and refining the UI.
Full-Scale Mockup
This was my primary contribution to the project. A general form and most dimensions had been locked in. The only decision remaining was what the UI panel would look like. My first task was to create a full-scale foam mock-up that could be used to test printed iterations of the UI.
User Interface Concepts
I had an afternoon to explore some UI layouts. Options ranged from mild to wild, but the ultimate goal was to create a layout conducive to training the end user.
